Went hunting for music-video-footage two days ago in the Chucanuts.  Roundtrip, it was a ten mile hike to Lost Lake which wasn’t actually lost, considering the trail that led us right to it.  We captured probably ten or fifteen minutes of film, including a few seconds of a dagger-beaked and cobalt-winged blue heron that took flight when we arrived at the lake.

I’m thinking that I’d like to use the footage we got for the last track–The Trail Beyond the Dying Sun–of our still-unnamed-album.  Like the video and photos we took on Elk Mountain, it’s very raw and simple–just a pure injection of earth.  But that’s fitting of our music.
